Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect through foshanprocurement.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to enquiries, quotes and project correspondence handled through this website.

1. Who we are

FoshanProcurement is a technical consultant and procurement agency for windows and doors sourced from China, based in Foshan, Guangdong, China. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, company name, country and the content of your message. If you attach drawings or schedules later, we hold those as part of the project file.

Information collected automatically. When you submit the form we record your IP address, browser user-agent string and the submission timestamp. This is used to detect automated spam and abuse and to keep the site working.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and how visitors arrive. It collects pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referral source.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — necessary for steps leading to a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you sent us.

To keep the site secure and spam-free — our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our inbox.

To measure and improve the site — consent, where your jurisdiction requires it for analytics cookies.

To meet legal and accounting obligations — compliance with applicable law, where relevant.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visits and measure usage. It does not collect your name or email address. Blocking cookies may affect how the site is measured, but the site itself works without them.

You can refuse or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings or by using Google's Ads Settings and browser add-on. Where required, we rely on your consent for these cookies and you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this site and respond to you, and only as far as needed:

  • an email delivery provider (Brevo) that transmits enquiry notifications from the site;
  • Google Analytics, for website measurement;
  • a messaging service (Telegram) used to alert our team that a new enquiry has arrived;
  • our hosting provider, which stores the site and its enquiry logs.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with the factories in our network unless you ask us to, or unless it is needed to quote or progress your project and you have been told.

6. International transfers

We are based in China and parts of our infrastructure are hosted outside the EEA. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA, we take steps to keep it protected, using the safeguards offered by our providers (for example standard contractual clauses) and limiting transfers to what is necessary to answer you.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project or business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as we need them for accounting or legal reasons. Technical logs used for spam and security are rotated and deleted on a rolling basis.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS) and restricted internal access to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we keep to what the enquiry needs.

10. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

12. Contact
