Working With Us

Do you take anything from the factories?

No. Our fee is a fixed project fee agreed with you before work starts, and we take no commission, rebate or gift from any factory, supplier or forwarder. Payment for your goods never passes through us — you pay the factory directly, so what the factory quotes you is what the factory gets. An agent whose income depends on which factory you pick is not independent; ours does not.

Do you recommend factories?

We do not recommend factories, and we do not represent any of them. What you get instead is a comparison you can act on. Ask us, and we will put a shortlist side by side against one specification — profile series and wall thickness, thermal break, glass build-up, hardware model, finish, and terms — so that the differences are visible. Which one you choose is yours to make. A recommendation is only worth something if the person making it has nothing to gain from it. We take no commission from any factory, and your payment never passes through us.

Can you inspect the goods at the factory before they are shipped?

Yes — pre-shipment inspection is one of our core services. We inspect against the locked specification using AQL sampling by category, and deliver a written report with the reasoning and the original photographs, so you or a third party can verify our judgement. We also supervise loading: quantity, packing, moisture protection and mixed loading.

Which standards and certifications do you work to for my market?

We match the factory and the documentation to your destination market: NFRC and AAMA/NAFS for North America, CE marking and EN 14351-1 for Europe and the UK, AS 2047 and AS 1288 for Australia and New Zealand, and G-Mark / SASO where a project specification drives the assembly. We do not apply one market's standard to another market's project.

What do you commit to?

The certainty of the process: a locked specification, sealed samples held against the production output, inspection reports you can hand to a third party, and a written answer when something is not right.

What if I already have a factory I buy from?

We will work inside the factory or supplier you already use. You are free to source from anywhere — any platform, any trader, any factory you find — and we do not lock you to our contacts. Many buyers use us as an independent technical and quality check on the supplier they already have.

Do you only handle windows and doors?

Windows and doors are our technical specialty — the one category where we put our name behind the engineering. In the same trip, clients often ask us to look at other building materials as well: flooring; tile, stone and countertops; cabinetry, vanities and millwork; lighting; plumbing fixtures and sanitary ware; wall panels and cladding; and furniture and outdoor living. We do the same work for those categories — factory verification, quote comparison, pre-shipment inspection and order follow-up.

Who will actually work on my project?

A technical lead, a factory liaison/interpreter, an order tracker and a freight and documentation specialist. The technical lead owns the standard; the others make sure it is met.

How do you deal with the language barrier?

We interpret technical discussions directly on the factory floor, between your specification and the people who build it — so the details survive the conversation.

Buyers Often Ask

Can several categories share one container and one inspection?

Where the schedule allows, yes. Orders in different categories are combined into one shipment: we group what fits one container, plan around weight and volume, and inspect the order in one inspection window before it is loaded. Where two categories cannot travel together or cannot be ready at the same time, we say so before you commit and plan the split — we do not pretend everything fits.

Does my payment go through you?

No. Your payment for the goods goes to the factory directly — it never passes through us. We take no commission, rebate or gift from any factory, supplier or forwarder. Our fee is a fixed project fee, agreed with you before work starts and paid by you, and only by you.

If something goes wrong with the order, who do I go to?

Us. Quality problems, shortages and document errors go back to the same team that inspected the order: we raise the claim with the factory in writing and follow it until it is resolved. What we commit to is the process — what was found, what was agreed, and what happens next, in writing.

Who goes to the factory — can I come too?

The technical lead runs the factory visits and inspections, with the factory liaison interpreting on the floor. Buyers who travel to Foshan can join the same trips. When you cannot travel, you get the photographs, the measurements and the written report from each visit.

Why not just buy through a trading company or a platform?

A trading company earns the difference between what you pay and what the factory charges, so its income depends on which factory you use. We are paid a fixed fee by you, agreed before work starts, and it does not change with the order value or with the factory — so our incentive is to get the price down, not up, and to tell you when a factory is not good enough. Same service, opposite incentive.

Do the other categories need their own certification?

That depends on the category, your market and your project. For windows and doors we hold the technical and compliance call. For other materials we check what the factory claims, read the documents and report what we find, so you have the paperwork in hand when you decide.

General

What exactly does FoshanProcurement do?

FoshanProcurement is a technical consulting and procurement agency specializing in windows and doors sourcing from China. We are not a factory — we are your independent representative in China, helping you find the right manufacturers, verify quality, manage production, and coordinate logistics. Think of us as your technical partner and boots on the ground.

How are you different from a trading company or factory direct?

Unlike trading companies, we don't add markup to factory prices — our service fee is transparent and separate. Unlike going direct to a factory, we represent your interests, not the factory's. We provide independent technical assessment, factory matching, and quality control that a single factory cannot offer. Our loyalty is to you, the buyer.

Where are you based?

We are based in Foshan, Guangdong Province — China's largest aluminum window and door manufacturing hub. Our location gives us one-hour access to thousands of manufacturers, the complete supply chain, and real-time market intelligence.

Services

Do you offer OEM/ODM services?

Yes. We provide comprehensive OEM/ODM services including custom profile design, brand identity application, packaging design, product catalog development, and certification support. We can help you build your own window and door brand from scratch or expand an existing product line.

Can I engage just one service, or do I need the full package?

Each service can be engaged independently. Many clients start with a single service (e.g., drawing review or factory sourcing) and expand as they see value. We'll recommend the right combination based on your needs, but there's no obligation to bundle services.

What types of windows and doors can you source?

We source all major types: aluminum alloy (thermal-break and non-thermal-break), uPVC, aluminum-clad wood, and steel-framed systems. This includes sliding, casement, tilt-and-turn, folding, fixed, and specialty shapes. We work with both standard and custom profiles.

Do you source uPVC windows, or only aluminum?

Both. uPVC is one of the material systems we cover, alongside aluminum (thermal-break and non-thermal-break), aluminum-clad wood and steel. The process is identical: the same factory verification checklist, quotes compared on your specification, and inspection before shipment. Which system suits your project depends on your market, climate and the performance target you have to meet — we tell you what the factories on your order can actually deliver.

Quality & Certification

How do you ensure product quality?

Our quality assurance is multi-layered: factory audits before selection, raw material verification, in-process inspections during production, and pre-shipment inspections following AQL standards. We verify compliance with your target market's certifications and provide detailed photo documentation at every stage.

What certifications do the factories have?

Factories we have audited hold various international certifications including ISO 9001, CE marking (EN 14351-1), AS 2047, AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101 (NAFS), and SGS/TUV test reports. We match factories to your specific certification requirements.

Can you help with certification for my market?

Yes. We guide you through the certification process for your target market, including selecting factories that already hold relevant certifications, coordinating testing, and managing the application process. We have experience with CE (Europe), AS/NZS (Australia/NZ), NAFS (North America), and various other regional standards.

Process & Pricing

What is your fee structure?

We offer flexible engagement models: project-based fees for one-time procurement, retainer arrangements for ongoing partnerships, or volume-based fixed fees for larger programmes. Our fees are transparent and separate from factory pricing. Initial consultation is free — contact us for a detailed quote tailored to your project.

What is the typical lead time?

Indicative production for custom windows and doors is 25-30 days from order confirmation and approved drawings; add 2-3 weeks if a new sample or mock-up is required first. Total time to FOB is typically about 6 weeks. This is a reference range, not a fixed commitment — the actual schedule is set by the factory and varies with complexity, order volume and season. We confirm it in writing when the order is placed. Sea freight is additional (typically 25-40 days by sea depending on destination).

How do you handle logistics and shipping?

We coordinate complete logistics including factory pickup, domestic transport to port, export documentation, customs clearance, and sea/air freight coordination. We work with trusted freight forwarders and can arrange door-to-door delivery to most global destinations. We also advise on packaging optimization to minimize shipping costs.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ varies by factory and product type. Generally, for standard products, MOQs start at around 100-200 sqm. For custom/OEM products, MOQs may be higher (300-500 sqm) due to tooling and setup costs. We can often negotiate lower MOQs for first orders or trial quantities.

Technical Support

Can you help with installation guidance?

While we don't perform installations directly, we provide detailed installation manuals, video guides, and remote technical support. We can also connect you with experienced installation teams in your region or train your local contractors on proper installation techniques for Chinese-manufactured products.

What happens if there are quality issues after delivery?

Warranty coverage is provided directly by the manufacturer, not by FoshanProcurement. We act as your intermediary on the ground in Foshan — coordinating with the factory to pursue warranty claims, arrange replacements, and resolve technical issues on your behalf. Our pre-shipment inspection process catches the vast majority of quality issues before products leave China, significantly reducing the likelihood of post-delivery problems.
