Factory verification

How We Verify a Factory

We do not keep a roster of preferred factories, and we do not recommend any of them. What we do is verify the factory that ends up on your order, against the same fixed checklist — every time, whichever factory it is.

The checklist

The same checklist, whichever factory it is

Every question below is answered in writing, with the evidence behind it, before a factory goes on a shortlist — and again on the factory that takes your order.

Certification coverage

The international certifications the product line actually holds (ISO 9001, CE, AS 2047, NAFS), with valid, verifiable test reports — checked against the product line and the window type, not the company brochure.

Production capability

Whether the factory can make the product type and volume on your order, on its own lines, within the schedule you need.

Quality systems

Documented incoming inspection, in-process checks and final audit — and whether they are actually kept, or only written down.

Equipment and testing

The machinery that touches your profiles and glass, and the measuring and testing equipment used to prove the result.

Export record

What the factory has shipped before, to which markets, with which packaging and documentation, and what came back.

Capacity to stand behind the order

Whether the factory can carry after-sales and a claim after the container has sailed.

The process

How the verification runs

Five stages, from the first factory visit to the loaded container. You get the report and the original photographs at each one.

Step 1

Factory audit

On-site assessment of production capability, equipment, quality systems and the people who hold the technical call.

Step 2

Material verification

Raw material check: aluminium alloy certificates, glass specification and build-up, hardware authenticity.

Step 3

In-process inspection

Watching cutting, machining, assembly and glazing — so an issue is caught before it is compounded into a full run.

Step 4

Final inspection

Finished-product inspection against AQL and the locked specification: dimensional, operational and visual.

Step 5

Loading supervision

Quantity by category, packaging, moisture protection and seal record, checked while the container is still open.

The item-by-item audit sheet we work to covers profile wall thickness, thermal break, glass build-up, hardware brand and model, finish, gaskets and seals, and the paperwork behind each. Ask us for the current version, or for the audit we did on your own order.

Send us the factory and the specification. We will verify it against this checklist and tell you in writing what we found.
